DESCRIPTION
UKI LU-1508H Extra Heavy-Duty Walking Foot Industrial Sewing Machine is a single-needle lockstitch machine developed for demanding sewing operations involving thick, multilayer and difficult-to-feed materials.
Its unison-feed system coordinates the needle feed, feed dog and alternating walking foot so material layers move together during sewing. This configuration is particularly effective for upholstery, leather goods, canvas products and other industrial applications where conventional bottom-feed machines may allow layers to shift.
JUKI designed the LU-1508H specifically for extra-heavy materials. The machine features a 38 mm needle-bar stroke, a maximum stitch length of 10 mm, and a maximum presser-foot lift of 16 mm by knee, providing clearance for bulky assemblies. It also uses a long 190R needle system as standard and supports substantially heavier thread than the standard LU-1508.
The machine is equipped with a vertical-axis double-capacity hook, reducing bobbin-change frequency compared with a standard-capacity lockstitch hook. Its complete rectangular feeding motion is designed to improve feeding consistency over thick and multilayer sections. JUKI also fitted the LU-1508H with an extra-large steel handwheel for improved control in heavy-duty sewing
