JUKI MO-6816S 5-Thread Industrial Safety Stitch Overlock Machine is a high-speed, two-needle overlock engineered for professional garment manufacturing and continuous production environments.
Operating at up to 7,000 stitches per minute, the MO-6816S combines a double-chain safety seam with overedge stitching, allowing the machine to join fabric layers, trim the raw edge and finish the seam during a single sewing operation. This makes it particularly effective for production of trousers, workwear, uniforms, shirts and a wide variety of woven apparel.
The machine incorporates differential feed, allowing the operator to control material movement to reduce unwanted puckering or stretching. JUKI specifies a gathering differential ratio of 1:2, adjustable to a maximum of 1:4, and a stretching ratio of 1:0.7, with a maximum adjustment of 1:0.6.
For high-speed reliability, the MO-6816S features automatic lubrication, a standard needle cooler and needle-thread heat remover. These systems are particularly valuable during sustained production where needle temperature and thread stability can affect seam quality
